EV cars are getting popular day by day. Not only Cars, Even other passenger and commercial Evs are getting popular and demands are increasing. The popularity of EVs is growing day by day. They are economical and environmentally beneficial. EV batteries typically have manufacturer guarantees of eight years or 100,000 miles. They are also cheaper for maintenance but EVs require some routine maintenance just like any other vehicles. One of the crucial part of the Ev is battery and it need to be taken care of in compare to other parts. In this blog post, we will share you some idea about how to take care of Ev car battery.
Your EV’s battery is its major component. An EV with a healthy battery lasts longer and operates more smoothly. Let’s have a look into the some tips that you can help your battery last longer.
You should do the regular servicing of your EV vehicle. Make sure that your Ev vehicle is service at least once in a year.
This is one of the most important habit that you should follow so that your Ev’s battery will be in shape. It’s because of batteries dislike extreme states of charge, both continuously charging an EV to 100% and letting it run entirely low would strain the battery. You might have a question about charging when you are planning for long trip. It’s okay to charge to 100% if you need to make a longer journey, but it will be much simpler to maintain the 20–80% range once you can drive an EV and manage your monthly mileage.
Not only for charging, if you are planning to leave your vehicle for long time you should have a proper plan as according to research, there was a sharpest curve of battery degradation because of leaving a car unattended for extended periods of time with a battery that was between 70% and 80% charged. Your Ev battery could lose up to four to eight per cent of capacity to hold charge.
Charge Only When Needed. Frequent Charging Can Stress The Battery of Ev.
Another important thing that you should know is about the fast charging. If you have enough time then you can avoid using fast charging. Excessive use of fast charging can raise the temperature at which the EV battery is exposed, speeding up battery deterioration if they are carried out regularly. You can use a slow charger for regular charging to help your battery last longer.
Don’t expose your Ev to high temperatures as the EV batteries that are exposed to higher temperatures can experience a faster rate of battery degradation. Try to park it in a shade area or the place that is less exposed to the Sun. Where possible, try and avoid parking in the hot su

With so many new models, enhanced battery technology, and improved charging infrastructure being developed nationwide, the electric vehicle (EV) market is changing quickly. if you’re thinking about purchasing an EV in 2025, there are a few important things that you should consider.
The future of driving is electric.
1. Battery Technology and Range
One of the biggest concerns for the EV buyers is about the battery and it’s performance. Range anxiety, or the worry of running out of energy before arriving at a charging station, is one of the main worries for prospective EV customers. Due to the growing demand of electric vehicles, Ev manufacturers are working rapdily in battery technology.
Another concern is about the charging speed or charging times. New Evs are coming up with the Charging Speed. 10-15 minutes for an 80% charge could be a new normal soon .
2. Charging Infrastructure Availability
Public charging networks are expanding. Even restaurants are integrating charging facilities. Government is heavily investing in the Ev charging stations all around the nation.
3 . Total Cost of Ownership
It seems like EV are expensive but you are wrong. EVs often have a higher purchasing cost but lower long-term expenses because of the lower Fuel Costs as electricity is cheaper than petrol per km. Buying an Ev is also saving high amount of money on maintenance like no oil changes, fewer brake replacements, and lower servicing costs.
4. Vehicle Options and Market Competition
There are so many ev brands coming up with different model in 2025, increasing competition and driving prices down. More brands, more competition and price war.
6. Software and Autonomous Features
EVs are increasingly tech-focused making it more automatic and easy to drive.
7. Battery Degradation and Warranty
EV batteries lose capacity over time, but warranties protect against severe degradation but this is also improving with more hi-tech batteries. Many manufacturers offer 8 years/100,000 miles (or more) on battery packs.
8. Environmental Impact and Sustainability
One of the biggest flex of having an ev is going to be the committed for the greenery EVs is more about eco-friendliness.
Final Thoughts
Summary:
Before Buying an EV in 2025, it’s essential to:
Compare range, charging speed, and real-world performance.
Look about the charging infrastructures in your area.
Research more about the after sales supports.
Research more about the brand and the resale value.
