IM Motors is set to launch its ‘IM-6’ in the market, aiming to compete with the BYD Sealion 7, which has been priced at NPR 7.2 million. The prices of both vehicles are expected to be quite similar. The IM 6 will be brought to Nepal by Paramount Motors, the official distributor of MG. Both IM Motors and MG Motors are owned by the same SAIC Group in China. As a result, IM 6 will be sold through MG showrooms, according to sources at Paramount Motors.
“We plan to start sales of the IM 6 within the next week. Currently, 10 units of the IM 6 are already running on Nepali roads. We are preparing to launch it at the upcoming Nepal Mobility Expo,” a company source said.
